Grab your bike, and helmet, and come out for the Helmet Hustle, a fun bike ride to raise money for Helmets First.  Helmets First’s mission is to provide FREE bicycle helmets for children across the St Louis region, currently around 3,000 each summer.

The Ride:  Starts at the start/finish line of the Gateway Cup bicycle races .  This ride is rare opportunity to tour the closed race course (2 miles)and then take a tour of South City and County.  Start and end in the Shadow of Anheuser-Busch in Benton Park at the fourth and final day of the Gateway Cup bicycle races and take a 20 mile bicycle ride through some of the city’s finest architecture. The ride will head south to Jefferson Barracks Park overlooking the Mississippi River before meandering back to the action for the men’s and women’s professional races.   Kids, take the 2 mile for a chance to ride the pro course!

After the ride, hang out in Benton Park and enjoy the races and other festivities.
